Most memorable - close season, summer of '76.

I remember the day of the Southend game very well, me and my mates went to the Charity Sheld game between Liverpool and Southampton, then caught the train to Southend in time for the evening kick off!
There was a lot of trouble, a Southend fan was stabbed at the station before the game.
Two football matches in day - Wembley and Roots Hall!

Real chuffed that so ,many enjoyed my self obsessed ramblings, put together on a boring Sunday afternoon.

I am on holiday this week and the weather is awful. I wish we could go back to 1976 and those summers before Global Warming!
