Most memorable - BRISTOL ROVERS (h)

Brighton 3 - 2 Bristol Rovers, November 19, 1966

I hesitate to add to this thread, since one W. Tranter wore the no. 5 shirt on the day but for my money the victory over Bristol Rovers on November 19, 1966, was a good game in which to be involved. We were 0-1 down at half-time, and then went 2-0 down. In the last sixteen minutes (if memory serves), we scored three times. Norman Gall (bless him) scored once, and Dave Turner bagged two. As 3-2 wins go, this one in front of a crowd of 11,542 was pretty good. Happy days... :clap2:

Well done, Sir.

Shame i started watching the following season so never saw you play. most unusual scorers especially dave turner getting 2. Where is he now?

Im sorry but i have one that tops all that and one of my favourite brighton moments !!!

the LEGEND that is GEORGE PARRIS crept up on their keeper from behind the south stand and when he dribbled it out he simply but his massive arse in the blokes face and nudged him over and tapped into an empty net !! think about 1994, oh i miss the goldstone !!
takes a while to load but its in there......

Well when this thread appears next time we play Bristol Rovers at home, you can sure as hell bet that Saturdays game won't feature very much!

Most forgettable may be.
