Only in the US - a Washington judge is suing his local drycleaner's for 54 million dollars over some damaged pants. The court case is on at the moment.
"Judge Roy Pearson is suing the owners of Custom Cleaners over a lost pair of pants.
The owners had signs posted that said, "Satisfaction Guaranteed" and "Same Day Service." Their lawyer says no reasonable person would interpret the signs as an unconditional promise of satisfaction. The signs have since been removed.
Pearson originally sought 67 million dollars under the District of Columbia's consumer protection law. He later modified his lawsuit and is now seeking 54 million dollars."
