Was watching a film called Happiness the other day, and have to say I really enjoyed it except that it had a rather disturbing sub plot about paedophillia. Although dealt with quite well it still left me a bit freaked.

Another film that really disturbed me was Irreversable which had a really long and graphic rape scene in it. Awful.

I always find parts of the movie sleepers rather harrowing, great movie but a bit harrowing with the kids in the prison

I'm easily disturbed so there's loads but the bit in one flew over the cuckoo's nest comes to mind where you realise that they turned jack nicholson into a cabbage because they couldn't control him was pretty disturbing and probably was a widespread practise.

actually, more recently, I found the ring a bit disturbing but only the first time of viewing. After the quick flash of the young girl with the distorted face at the beginning I found myself dreading the next scene for the rest of the film.

American History X

The bit where he is asked to 'bite the curb' springs to mind. Urgh!

8mm with Nicolas Cage is a bit warped.
American History X also has some dodgy moments.
Crash was just a truely shit film.

Ooooh, good shout. That quick flash of the girls head as it sort of lolled forward was severely gruesome. And the ending had me gripping the arms of the seat in the cinema (I had NO IDEA that was going to happen at the end).

I was quite disturbed by a film called Night of the Leapus, which was about giant flesh-eating rabbits which lived in a mine and came out at night to feed on HUMANS.
