If you are going to do something like this at least make sure you take a dictionary with you:

Fallen idol Beckham faces another indignity
By Dalya Alberge

VANDALS have defaced a photograph of David Beckham at an exhibition of portraits of footballers at the Royal Academy. Days after the England captain missed two penalties at Euro 2004 the words “You loosers” (sic) were scrawled in indelible red ink across the 5ft portrait.
The misspelling of “loosers” may refer to Rebecca Loos, who claimed to have had an affair with Beckham. The vandals also scribbled the words “Beckham and Meier, you loosers” on a wall. This was a reference to Urs Meier, the Swiss referee, who disallowed a goal in England’s defeat by Portugal.

The picture, by Mark Hom, a leading portrait photographer, and valued at £7,500, has been removed. Another will be printed. Beckham is said to have asked to be portrayed like the film star Johnny Depp.

How can a photograph that can be re-produced be worth £7,500? ???

I thought the mis-spelling was well funny, though. :lolol:

as 10cc say, not in hove
see the picture: it is a clear reference to rebecca loos, it's even underlined! i saw this on the train this morning, imho it's not a spelling mistake at all, it's intentional.....

Not convinced. 'Looser' is a common misspelling these days. If it were referring to Rebecca Loos, then why would Meier be called a 'looser' as well? Is he meant to have shagged her too?

sshhhhh. No-one on here knows who I am! Don't give away my identity.
And do Disney know you are looking on websites like this one? Tut tut.

Ah but it's lunchtime so I'm not wasting valuable company resources. Much. Well occassionally. If I'm bored. Allright, all day. :lolol:
