Personally, I wouldn't be best pleased if we wasted a load of dosh on Mooney... although, he does have experience of footie at our new elevated level, which is obviously a plus point... better players around, several of which mentioned in this thread, IMHO...

Mooney will NOT be going to Bristol City. Brian Tinnion has publicly stated they are now "not interested" in him.

Mooney held a gun to the Swindon boards head in terms of his salary requirements. I doubt we could match those demands. He is a decent player despite his misses.

You might want to tell the BBC then as their Teletext says that he has completed a move to Bristol City.
