Have we re-signed Iwelumo yet?

Any of these would probably be better. If Stoke (4th from bottom last time we were in Div1) cannot find use for him, why can we in Division 1?

I know all we have is an inexperienced backup of McPhee and Desert Orchid Jnr but we really must strengthen this time if we want to stay up.

I think he would be an excellent signing and play superbly with Knight. I do however, expect him to sign for Bristol City.

But Richie if he signed for us you would have to hate him for coming to play for a team that had knocked Swindon out of the play-offs. Doesn't show much loyality does it.

He only played for Swindon for one season & decided not to stay - whoever he joins shows an element of disloyalty to Swindon. But on the other hand, he's hardly a Swindon legend is he! I don't think he could give a flying f*^&k about them personally

Mooney will NOT be going to Bristol City. Brian Tinnion has publicly stated they are now "not interested" in him.

Mooney held a gun to the Swindon boards head in terms of his salary requirements. I doubt we could match those demands. He is a decent player despite his misses.

Strength in depth people, thats what we ned for Div1 and Mooney would bring that to the forward line. Only drawback would be his wages and signing on fee...which would probably be alot of cash!
