:lolol:

Ooh, and one of the original broadcasts, too - before BBC censors decided to overdub the word "cancer" with "gangrene" instead.
You can never be too careful with these cartoons, after all...

I look forward to the Michael Palin book on Monty Python.

Not sure if it's out yet but reading a transcript of a small part of the book in the paper it looked like a must read for python fans.

Reading it Cleese and Idle don't come out smelling roses.

I was in a pub watching an FA Cup final once, and Eric Idle was there (think darkness, bigscreen projectors and tvs in every corner). It smelled of cigarettes in there, not roses - so maybe it was Eric?

I'd like to see the Architect sketch again.

"Did you say knives?"
"...er, rotating knives, yes."

"We sorry you feel like that, but we did want a block of flats. Nice though the abattoir is..."

Eric Idle seems to have become a bit of a dick in recent years, pushing for a reunion then pulling out at the last moment, then putting together the cheesy Spamalot that seems to have the rest of them gritting their teeth and reluctantly going along with it...
