Dynamite down the holes....or lay tube traps in the runs, locate the runs by drawing a line between the mole hills and the run should be located below the line. OR the moles will rise to the surface at approximately the same time every day, so if you don't have a shovel/frying pan/cricket bat handy to stove their head in, you'll be able to be better prepared the following day.

They do have their uses.

According to today's papers it seems there's one mole that recently underwent a successful operation to have a Sarah Jessica Parker surgically removed from its face.

Imagine how embarrassing it must have been walking around in public with one of those dangling off you.
