According to McGhee, Leon, Chris, Jake and Mehata are very similar and he is looking for someone else up front to play with them? That's strength in depth in one position.

Sounds from the interview that it's more or less a done deal. Glad he's looking for another striker but hope that isn't the only position he's looking to strengthen...

If you don't score goals you don't win matches.

For the last few years we have had no competition at front.

We can't afford to have Knight taking his holiday for the middle part of the season.

If it's at Withdean then I'm sure the steward presence won't be that high as it'll be mid afternoon etc.

What's to stop people watching the game from the road or the nature reserve???

It's at 1 of Arsenal's training grounds - not sure which.

Maybe the match was put together to help mcghee choose a couple of Arsenal youngsters?

The same thought crossed my mind. Sidwell & Barrett etc

Is it an urban myth that Hinshelwood was offered Upson (at the same time as Barrett) but turned him down or is there any truth in the rumour?

Because if Hinshelwood did turn him down he's a bigger dick than I thought he is (as Reading snapped up Upson, he was quality for them and this helped seal a move to Brum for big bucks)
