Mobile Phone Shops

It's time to upgrade and I'm looking to go for either the HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S3. Both are available for £50 on the £36 per month T-Mobile "Full Monty" package (unlimited data is a must, so texts and calls are a bonus).

My query isn't over which phone to choose, but whether there's any value in going into town and visiting somewhere like Carphone Warehouse? Can they realistically get the same kind of deal rather than me just going to the operator directly? I don't want the hassle of them trying to sell me all kinds of extras, when I'm happy with the network and plan above. Pros/Cons?

T-Mobile offer the S3 on the same plan with a handset price of £49.99 - Link

Bit of a difference there.

by allmeans look at the handsets in the shop,but dont ever upgrade in any shop,they havet much power,do it on the phone and go through retentions
