Obviously it depends on whether you think the risk of Duffy getting injured is higher than the added value we'd get from the valuable game time where Goldson and Duffy get to play alongside each other.

It's not just the risk of an injury but the risk of a red card. Only way I see Duffy starting is if Uwe isn't fit.

I'm utterly certain that he STILL wouldn't play.

1. We have White, Hall and Dallison (if he's not cup tied?) as back up centre half options.
2. We have the very likely alternative of using Rohan Ince in there.
3. We are playing MK Dons.
4. It might not even be a full strength MK Dons, given their league position.
5. Some would not consider it disastrous if we were to slip up.

All those options / factors considered, Duffy can book in a haircut or something. He'll not be playing.

I agree. I'd be very surprised.

It makes sense to me to pair Duffy and Goldson as a warm-up for the Preston match.

Given that both are primarily right-sided defenders they need the match time together to iron out the wrinkles.

I don't want the following players ANYWHERE NEAR the Amex pitch on Saturday;

Stockdale
Duffy
Bruno
Bong
Stephens
Knocky
March
Skalak
Murray
Baldock

I wouldn't even let them in the ground, just in case.

With Dunk suspended for Preston, it would be MADNESS to risk Duffy in this game.

It is an equal risk to play Goldson, but one they'll feel is justified because he needs game time. Duffy can go shopping, or ten pin bowling.
No no no. If he goes bowling, he is very likely to hurl himself headlong at the pins.

10-15k for this? Not too bad.

I tried to update myself on the MKDons Fan TV (always good for a smile) but they appear to have stopped bothering

Surely March will get some game time as he builds himself back to full match fitness?

More like 8-9,000. The capacity for this game is probably under 11,000.

Was only comparing it to Reading earlier in the season, quite a few more blocks open for this one.

Attendance for that game was 6,235.

Been holding off buying a ticket but was always going to go.

Now it's clear there will be nowt behind the goal would you go in the WSL or the ESL close to the MK Don's fans if looking for the best (I realise 'best' is subjective for this game) atmosphere?

Looks like another 400 tickets have appeared in the last day. Only 36 available on monday. West probably best for atmosphere I think. I had to buy in the east.
