I just saw a post that said Kaoru Mitoma was staying after turning down a 4 year Man City offer. It said he wanted to stay and become a club legend. Has anyone else seen this as I can't find it again.

According to a BBC Sports report just now, after an 8-hour investigation over a rape case that was issued against Brighton & Hove Albion’s favorite center midfielder by a Southampton lady, the FA analyst made a brutal decision against the Brighton & Hove Albion’ star’s center midfielder, as confirmed now by the BBC Sports representative, who officially announced that the Brighton & Hove Albion star’s center midfielder has been banned for 14 months and charged €40k for damages due to…

Aside from the shocking writing generally, the one thing they consistently get wrong is that it is “BBC Sport”, not “BBC Sports”, which implies these are being written by hand by Americans.

It’s not AI, because AI writes better than that.

What’s the point? It’s such complete nonsense. Do some people really fall for it and share it?

Yes.

Some of the Albion Facebook groups are inundated with post after post of utter bollocks, many of which include players leaving or joining other clubs, always outside of transfer windows. Occasionally, they go even further off-piste and spin up shit about a player being dead or raping someone or something.

They always link off to a dodgy website, trying to capture the unwary or gullible.

I can only assume these groups either don't have hands-on admins or the volume of the dodgy posters is just too high that it's a game of whack-a-mole that you're never going to win.

Anyway, I'm neither going to link to the specific FB post, nor the link they want to send people to, but this is the utter horseshit they posted this time:

As reported by BBC Sports just now, following the star left winger’s statement of not leaving the team and his desire to stay to be a legend for Brighton & Hove Albion, following the sudden news of him agreeing to a 4-year deal with Manchester City, as the BBC reporter confirmed and announced, it is to announce to the Brighton & Hove Albion fans that the fans’ favorite left winger’ turned down a massive deal with Manchester City and made his decision of not leaving the team due to…
It's AI slop.

I'm not sure what the play is financially, but it must make money somehow.

BTW, if you want non-bollocks Albion news on Facebook, with the occasional insight from here, this is the page you should be following:

It still amazes me how folk read something online and go running to tell everyone it's happening, even after all these years.

That's why NSC is my go to. Only reliable and accurate information, every day, 24 hours a day*

Oi, that's one of my pics of the Terrace on there!
I'm going to track down HB&B & get his advice on copyright infringement! As well as question someone else how much you've earnt from my contribution to NSC, as they know all about your earnings from their contributions! If you earn £1000 from that pic, I demand 50p. We'll call it quits though as that's never going to happen even though my contribution was outstanding! :lolol:
