I just saw a post that said Kaoru Mitoma was staying after turning down a 4 year Man City offer. It said he wanted to stay and become a club legend. Has anyone else seen this as I can't find it again.

Yes.

Some of the Albion Facebook groups are inundated with post after post of utter bollocks, many of which include players leaving or joining other clubs, always outside of transfer windows. Occasionally, they go even further off-piste and spin up shit about a player being dead or raping someone or something.

They always link off to a dodgy website, trying to capture the unwary or gullible.

I can only assume these groups either don't have hands-on admins or the volume of the dodgy posters is just too high that it's a game of whack-a-mole that you're never going to win.

Anyway, I'm neither going to link to the specific FB post, nor the link they want to send people to, but this is the utter horseshit they posted this time:

As reported by BBC Sports just now, following the star left winger’s statement of not leaving the team and his desire to stay to be a legend for Brighton & Hove Albion, following the sudden news of him agreeing to a 4-year deal with Manchester City, as the BBC reporter confirmed and announced, it is to announce to the Brighton & Hove Albion fans that the fans’ favorite left winger’ turned down a massive deal with Manchester City and made his decision of not leaving the team due to…

BTW, if you want non-bollocks Albion news on Facebook, with the occasional insight from here, this is the page you should be following:

The grammar and wording of that is horrendous.

He's Japanese.

He's earning a great wage and is doing BHAFC and more importantly to him, Japan, proud.

Can see him staying until he feels he's not good enough to play at this level anymore.

How anyone can give credence to something so badly written is beyond me.
