Not sure why he felt the need to ‘apologise’ for scoring in the fa cup and was a bit confused as to what was going on on Sunday.

I never understand why players dont celebrate goals against old clubs. Newcastle sold Minteh, he want pushing for a move, he had never played for them, most of the fan base had never heard of him or ever seen him play before the move to us. Id have understood more a big "f*** You" gesture to the Newcastle bench.

And on the flip side I found people who got upset with Dan Burn over celebrating his goal against us to be a bit precious.

Yes, I agree. And he tried to persuade the ref to card one of our players on Sunday. It’s not nice in general, but I don’t blame him for doing it, he’s a Newcastle player. I used to love watching Anthony Gordon kiss his badge at Everton after scoring a goal, before forcing a move to Newcastle

Welbeck was quite interesting. My take was that he had a pop at Minteh for basically apologising for scoring. Then it all changed and Minteh gave them some. I thought welbz said something like “you are a Brighton player”
