Will he play again this season before his contract is up?

Lots of previous rumours about him becoming a coach at Liverpool, and he’s worked through his badges previously. Could he stay on for us in a coaching role?

He’s given a lengthy service to the PL and seems like a great asset and mentor.

Total waste of wages. Possibly the worst signing in our history. Must have had about four decent games out of him over two seasons.
Fab said this a few months ago, about the fact he still travels with the squad:
“It’s impressive how hard he works in the gym, how professional he is, how positive his mindset is and it’s so important also for us to have him around us in the training ground because he has always an opinion, he can share his experiences, he can support young players and therefore I’m really happy that he’s around the team and he can help us by sharing his opinion and his experiences.”

I guess he’s giving a lot more to the team than minutes in games.

Does anyone know what his injury is? He's never been close to a comeback from all accounts so it must have been very serious to rule him out for almost a season. Seems a bit of a mystery.

Will he play again? Doubt it. Will he stay on? Again, doubt it. Much stronger affiliations elsewhere. Do I care? Nah, not really. Former Pro’s wanting a job are ten a penny, even the good ones!

Hamstring apparently. But updates seem to be a bit sketchy.

Must be the Brighton way. Virtually injury free and one of the fittest players at Liverpool, then comes here

To be fair, it is easy to take Milner round the country as he can travel on the bus for free with his pass

Did FH tell him to go on the injury list because he didn't want to be responsible for ruining his post playing life?

He must be set on breaking the all-time PL appearances record, he is 13 behind Barry. Maybe he will go back to Leeds if they go up on the condition they throw him enough 30 second sub appearances over the season.

I think it's pretty obvious that we sign these highly successful veteran players for more than just what they can offer us on the pitch.

But what else was Fab going to say? " top bloke but complete crock and ultimately a total waste of money "

The only evidence we’ve heard is advising Hinsh against wearing a snood.

£3.6 million pound a year in wages to have a guy to motivate the kids. Almost the entire seasons ticket price increase revenue. What a bargain.

That’s football all over in the modern day. Rinse fans for all their worth whilst spunking millions on old crocks.

But surely you can get a retired player with the same knowledge on a coaches salary (which I’m assuming is significantly less than a player’s salary).
