After those kind people at Millwall lobbed bricks at us I wrote to Millwall FC and complained how that area was not policed and why no roof on the section, etc.
A kind lady called me from Millwall today and apologised to me and my kids, as one nearly hit my 18 year old daughter and another splintered on to my 11 year old. I did stress that we were not hurt. I also said how we had helped them last year.
Anyway, they kindly invited myself and kids to be their guests at a match of our choice with hospitallity etc.
In the afternoon I had a call from their Police Liason Officer (Christine Owen) whom was most concerned and was in the Police Station. They say that that area will be policed and they are considering extra fencing and a roof.
To be fair they could not have been more concerened and thanked me for not going to the national press. They are doing all they can to make it family safe. Would be great if we play them next year but I hope not as we cannot both stay up.

Perhaps the bloke who nearly had his jacket robbed should phone Millwall, might be able to screw them for a new wardrobe!

Seriously though, looks like hospitality for you and your family when we play there next year, at least you won't have to go in the stand again. Sounds like Millwalls' attempts to improve their image isn't all hot air.

My boy was a little shaken up. Made me cover my shirt up with my coat. Lucky I had the white CP one on and not the bright pink goalie top that I often wear to away games.
Anyway he's well happy now. So if we do play them it should be great.
Thanks for your concern. Yes they could not have taken it more seriously and are doing all they can. They did very much appreciate our help last year as well.
Any other incidents then contact Christine Owen.

Fair play to Millwall, they accept they had a problem and are now doing all they can to try and eradicate the hooligan issue.

meaning that she's not a little kid. Actually she was 18 on Tuesday and her name was on the Millwall scoreboard at half time with our Best Wishes and it was announced. Millwall charged me £15. A bargain as we even have a photo of it.

No in the walkway to the station that is fenced. Yobs were lobbying bricks into it from the road below.
