I like this bit from the match report: "Michel Kuipers, in confident mood, dummied two Lions' strikers, much to the delight of the Town crowd, before passing to left-back Sam Rents."

I went along today, Millwall got given a real game by Crawley, and it was 10 of those starting the play-off final. I can see Crawley doing well in the Conference this season, worth a look after Luton to go up. Big-money new signings looked sharp, FDM had a storming first-half. Sounds from one or two 'insiders' like he's there for maybe a year with a coaching role back with us after that.

Rents got done pretty badly by Millwall striker Morison, I was surprised the Crawley players didn't react to it. Very late, head in the face, blood pouring out. Led off to an ambulance at half-time with a suspected fractured cheekbone.

Mrs FDM and the kids were there, and another top-notch WAG in attendance was the other half of Crawley's £100,000 signing Sergio Torres. Great name for the Conference.
