All gone now, or at least they weren't there when I cycled past yesterday evening and this morning.

There was a story on the BBC website that there was a fire and things didn't end quite as peacefully as people had hoped. Not sure what the truth is on that.

Anyway, whilst I support them 100% and totally sympathise with their cause I can't help feel it was a massive waste of effort and a complete and utter waste of everybody's time. They'd have been better off joining forces with the London group and trying to mount a bigger and more effective protest in the heart of Britain's financial district (or as near to the heart as they could get) as opposed to camping on a nice bit of grass in a seaside town that is hardly the hub of international capitalism. And they didn't tell us anything that we hadn't learnt from listening to the London protestors. "Hippies without the train fare" as one of my mates said.

Plus they've managed to piss off the previously-sympathetic Council now, not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Anyone know if Mike Weatherley is still married to the £70 a go whore? If so does anyone know if she sells Tory MP wife whore gift cards as I'm looking for last minute Christmas presents and would like to give a mate a f*** a Tory MP's wife voucher.

BTW, last time I saw (as published in The Daily Mail) Mike Wetherley's wife is/was a £70 a go whore

He is/was married to a WHORE (that's an old word for prostitute - she has sex for money)

For less than £100 you can go for a curry, have a couple of pints, get a cab and f*** the MP for Hove's wife, in the mouth.

A golden age.

According to the Mail they have seperated

They married in Brighton in 2003. It was the MP's second marriage and, at the time, the new Mrs Weatherley's occupation was listed as 'housewife'.
She is reported to have gone home to Brazil in 2007, returning two years later when her husband asked her to assist him ahead of his election campaign.
But that was a decision Mr Weatherley may have been regretting yesterday. The MP, who insists that he has been separated from his wife since February this year, wept when approached at his home in Brighton yesterday

What gets me is that they are protesting that society is broken. This they are doing in a liberal democracy that allows them their voice, this they are disseminating using smart phones and social media run by very large corporations while being provided for by sympathetic locals. Not exactly f***ing Sudan is it?

They're protesting that society is broken? I thought Occupy was about the economic and social unbalance

The argus is reporting that they were moved by the council after a fireman was attacked while dealing with a small fire earlier this week (one wooden pallet burnt a little too uncontrollably, only needed a single engine to deal with the fire, the other were controlling traffic), but because of this alleged attack, the council ruled the gathering unsafe and moved them on.
