Think Evans has made a mistake. Should of finished the job at Crawley who have had a fantastic season so far despite selling 2 goal scorers. I know Rotherham are moving to a new ground, but what's financial prospects like? Evans likes to spend a few quid.

Heard interview with a crawley person, said his family is still up north, so maybe he had to take opportunity when it came ?

Micky Adams as new Crawley manager?
I kjnow we all like a joke and laugh on NSC, but thats a bit obsense to post something as cruel as that on a chat room.

We're not meant to like our piky friends up in Crawley, but come on, its a bit much to even suggest putting that on them isn't it

The only club I'd wish Mickey Adams on is Palace.

I imagine the backers of crawley are bitterly disappointed at his lack of loyalty, bearing in mind how they have supported him over the past couple of years. I personally think he's a nasty piece of work and Rotherham, a club that I have a lot of time for, will rue the day they appointed him.

They were walking the league until the owners sold his two best players. I'm not surprised he left.

I guess that's the main reason he's jumped ship. Certainly he won't have as much cash to spend at Rovrum, but if he has family up there then you can understand why he'd take this opportunity.

Strange time to be bringing in a new manager though. What's he meant to do between now and the end of the season? There's an outside chance they could make the playoffs but he doesn't have a lot of time to do it.

Given the money Crawley spent they should have walked League 2 this year, and it isn't just flogging their two best players that has derailed them. Evans has to take some of the blame, I just don't think he's all that as a manager. A bully and a crook, but no master tactician.

If anything I'd say Crawley have done better out of the deal. They could probably attract a half decent lower league manager for next season, when they could conceivably be in League 1.

Micky Adams would't actually be a bad bet all things considered. He has experience of getting teams up from the bottom two tiers, especially if given a little cash. If he is appointed then good luck to him, although I can just imagine him feeling he's so much bigger than the job.
