He was commentating on the game for SCR. There was nothing more to it than that. Nothing to link him to a move back to Brighton.

Don't know if this is fixtures, but, had a text from a friend at SCR and apparently the rumour is that he was commentating for SCR.

It was great to hear him again, a very welcome bit of nostalgia. I reckon he used the word "disappointed" 462 times during his commentary. One second he was "very proud" of "Whingy", the next "very disappointed" by him. Complete and utter LEGEND.

Having been a bad fan and not making the trip to Northampton, I am delighted to confirm that I was listening to said radio station, and Sir Michael was co-commentator... last minute replacement for whomever was supposed to be in the chair.
And he got paid £15 licence payers money for doing it!
