I would be more than happy to join Simster, if you are setting one up. ;)

It is a shame that it has taken so long for someone to make the right noises. But he is certainly the best man for the job.

Yeah, definitely. It's a bit of a shame he has actually had to tone down some of his ideas to make them more likely to happen, but still, it is good to see someone in a position of power in football who actually cares.

He is saying all the right things but the horse has already bolted.

I think the G14 are probably laughing behind his back because almost all of them apart from Leverkusen and PSG have a locked-in powerbase because they've been on the Champions League gravy train for so long.

He speaks sense, but I fear is pissing in the wind here.

UEFA (and FIFA) see the folding stuff and want to keep their snouts in the trough. He has an air of dignity and consideration about him which is noble and in tune with the vast majority of football fans, but, as Pavilionaire says, the self-appointed arrogant fatcats of the *cough* G14 are laughing themselves silly.

Can't wait for the bubble to burst.

He's got some good ideas, it's just a shame that it's probably too late to do much about the stupid money in football

Completely agree with everyone else. It's just a shame it's taken this long for someone to speak out against all the money in the game. I really hope he can go at least someway to making football less about money, and decreasing the gap between the big teams and the small teams.
