Since when has it been cast in stone that you need to look like a cat walk model to have talent ?
Can't stand crap shows like Pop Idol but the fact that somebody who may not meet everybody's idea of totty won it gives it a whole lot more credibility IMHO.

Although I cannot stand PopIdol and the decline in music that it has began to represent I have to admit I like her, I think she is totally out of her depth socially and is easy fodder for Cowell and his lackeys to manipulate, but its good to see someone who does not fit the stereotypical mould do well for a change.
However I dont expect there to be a flood of biffa Kareoke queens hitting the airwaves as this is a one off, cynical attempt to cash in on ' shes something different' attitude that Cowell thinks will bag him a load of cash, its why he jumped on the bandwagon with her, as the others were all very very average nobodys who made the scottish kid that won Fame Academy look quite talented !! Lets hope that the Great British public are not all taken in by his all of a sudden 'caring' side !
I hope she enjoys her bit of fame, and makes as much money as she can. Cowell certainly will be.
On the subject of her personally, well I am sure most of us have had worse !!
