Michael Robinson on tv last night...

On Posh and Becks: The Reign in Spain last night on ITV, the great man himself, not David Beckham, but Michael Robinson, my favourite Albion player when I started watching them in the early eighties. I haven't seen anything of him since he played for Liverpool, but now he's alive and well and residing in Spain, and looking a lot fatter and older!

He's a legend over there and presents (or did) El Dias Despues (sorry, Spanish spelling not great) which is there version of Match Of The Day. My Albion hero too

The albion squad stayed in my uncles hotel after the replay v's man u in 83 . He got me a polystyreen bowler hat signed by the entire brighton squad except Michael Robinson. He was up in his room crying his eyes out. Albion leg end and a top fella.
