Hartlepool United defender Michael Nelson looks set to leave the club this week with Norwich, Colchester and Brighton all being linked with the defender.

Nelson has yet to accept or reject the contract offered to him by Pools last month and looks set to move on to pastures new.

Nelson's agent, Clive Hart, has said that his client is looking to leave the club and that a deal could happen soon ''He will probably be moving on. We are still talking to a few clubs at the moment.''

Would be a decent signing, but heard somewhere leeds are interested and that he wants to stay up north near his home. If he leaves, and with porter already gone i can see them really struggling next season.
