I dont know if its me, but there seems to have been, on far too many occasions to count this season and last, a tendency to overhit the ball when passing between the players, especially in attack down the wings and in the centre, we always seem to give the player whose expected to run on to or collect the ball far too much to do. The passes expect too many times for the player to run like a bloody cheetah!

After wathing The Wednesday game my advise would be;

"Don't keep getting offside"

try and string at least 3 passes together preferably to other players in blue and white shirts.

?? ???

That's bollocks. We've been playing some good passing football. Better than last season and previous seasons.

To be fair to GG I suspect he's only seen the Hillsborough game (I don't think he made the Leeds game)

I would advise putting longer studs in their boots tonight as well.
The number of times certain players slipped over on Saturday was ridiculous.

True i didn't make the Leeds game so i may have missed out on some silky passing, but Hillsborough was dire.

Preston was good, Derby, Leeds and Palace.

A corner that gets past the first defender would be nice

Somebody with a left foot might like to try corners from the right, so they don't all curl out to the edge of the box every time.

I'd like some savoury biscuits with my champagne tonight, perhaps with some brie ?

i think over-hitting the corners is deliberate. We have so few tall players that the likelihood of them winning it first time in the centre is slim. So they knock it beyond them, then cross it back in from the other side - giving them a bit of a chance to lose their markers.

Either that or are corners are shit. But it seems to be happening too often to be coincidence.

On the Wolves site it says their downfall recently has been conceding goals from set pieces, which is a bit worrying as we are SHIT at set pieces at the moment :(

We won our last game from a corner.

Fantastic as it was it was a total fluke, rather than a classy well worked set piece. Can't see us getting another off a defenders shoulder for a while
