Hello Brighton Fans.

I am sure over the next month through internet forums and twitter etc, there will be a lot of 'trash talking' and bragging between both sets of fans.

Before that all kicks off I would like to congratulate you on your amazing season this year. Well deserved champions.

I'd like to point out also that all the Saints fans I know actually like Brighton (and Bournemouth for that matter) and would love for 3 south coast teams to get promoted this year.

I hope to get the chance to see Saints play at your new stadium, which is looking very impressive by the way, next season.

We aren't ALL arrogant pr!cks!!

To be honest the Saints fans I know are not arrogant either and some of the Southampton obsession on here is frankly embarassing. Adkins is a bit annoying but he hasn't really said anything that I would consider inflammatory.

Does that include your manager,who stated in November that we had a good chance of going up this season
if we could keep up with you.I think that is arrogance of the highest order

Adkins is a bit annoying but he hasn't really said anything that I would consider inflammatory.

He was very complimentary of Brighton in his pre-match interview before we played MK Dons this Saturday.

He mentioned Gary Dickers comments regarding that in the interview and basically said you have to tip you hat to Brighton, they have a great manager and have had a fantastic month and been extremely consistent and hard working all season.

I've always had a general soft spot for South Coast teams and I admit to be prejudiced against teams from the North. Sorry. Is that wrong? The only southern team I have a real issue with is obviously Palace. I'd be very happy to see a South Coast clean sweep of promotion. It also makes for much easier away days next season and bigger gates. Also, Huddersfield seem to have blown themselves out of the water in the sympathy stakes after the "Gus Monkey" comments on their forum. Good luck to SCC, so long as it goes no further than 2nd place.

Its funny that when opposition fans come on here saying "congratulations you are going up, you are the best team in the league" etc, people reply by saying "hope you go up, got a soft spot for you guys" etc. However, if they say "you're shit, crap ground, crap fans" etc, please reply with "f*** off, hope you do down" etc.

I suppose my dislike for Saints has only grown since that game at Withdean with Dean Hammond giving it Charlie Bigspuds, Pardew and that fat lump Lambert. Hammond's not missed, Pardew has gone and Muzza is better than Lambert any day. Hope you get promoted though. NIce ground and easy to get to
