I think I'm going to take the approach with Mitoma that I did with Groß at the end of last season: accept that he's going/gone.

And fair play to him. He deserves to play at the highest level on the biggest stage.

We have some really good sushi places in Brighton & Hove.

Can they really say the same thing in Munich?
Munich is about 180 miles from the sea, across the Alps - there's no way they're serving fresh sashimi.

Does one of the wealthiest large cities in Germany, with cosmopolitan demographics and a population 5x that of Brighton & Hove, have good Japanese food (one of the most globally popular cuisines)?

Obviously it will.

You dont need to be by the sea to have good seafood in this day and age.

And if you're on Mitoma's salary you can bring in your own chef to cook whatever you want whenever you want.

No, we don't. Not if you're Japanese.
Every sushi place in England I've ever been to has been crap. Whether Brighton or London or anywhere else. At least at the base level. There might be some posh expensive places where it's decent but I've never been to those. I'm always obsessed with filling my face with pasties and sausage rolls whenever I'm back and sushi is the last thing I want.
