I'm actually quite surprised at how little coverage this is getting on the news (possibly because of the ginger toff getting married).
Yesterday's eruption sent ash clouds 30,000ft in the air. That's hardly a little puff of smoke and almost certainly a warning for what's coming.

Indeed, and also none of the news coverage I have seen explains the environmental consequences of extreme volcanic activity. When the Icelandic eruption occurred a few years ago the news was focused on the consequences of travel yet in term of carbon gases etc. being injected into the air the eruption was an absolute disaster. Not an issue that the ginger toff is responsible for but there they are........
