From the official site;

The full extent of Hinshelwood and Mayo's injuries is not yet known, but with the transfer deadline approaching on Thursday, manager Mark McGhee may be forced into some last minute shopping.

"I'll need to get on the phone tomorrow morning" McGhee admitted. "We already know we need another 'keeper; Ben Roberts isn't fit yet.

"We may now need a centre-half, and we may need a centre-forward. We might need a left-sided player or another central midfield player. I'm going to have to look at it all."

Sounds like he's after a whole new team, I trust he realises he manages Brighton not Chelsea and that Dick's pockets aren't as deep as Mr Abramovich's

Top priority right now is a forward. Asaba fits the bill, but is he interested?

I believe with Watson, El-Abd, Jones and Virgo we can cover the loss of Hinsh and Mayo. It's all about being able to score goals from now on, and with Leon playing wide it's even more important to bring someone in.

Forster's contract is coming up and he hasn't been offered a new one. What chance him making the trip our way?

I think Coventry wanted to sign Asaba and he was very keen on the idea.

What about Neil Shipperley? Gillingham have been trying to get him in on loan. Has he even played A game for Palarse this season?

I imagine he probably does realise that by now, to be fair.

We should have gone for Luke Beckett. Warnock signed him in December from Stockport, then decided he did not like him, and since then he has been scoring for fun on loan at Huddersfield and Oldham.

Beckett would have been amazing, shame we couldnt have got him.

Whoever we get all I want is for them to be able to pass the ball to an Albion player. Sometimes u can accept a defeat if we have played well but last night was a f***ing shambles. Hoofing the ball at every opportunity is just not fun to watch.

New midfielders and a striker please, McPhee dont cut it at this level as his air header proved

You wouldn't want him he's a Palace fanatic, when his transfer from Gillingham to us collapsed a few years back he openly wept in Jordan's office by all accounts. Still can't say Palace fans were too disappointed he didn't join us!

Shipps would be a great signing for you, strong, good in the air and weighs in with his fair share of goals. Could well be the difference between staying up or not. He is itching for first team football now as he has recovered from his injury so why not?

What ever happened to getting Arsenal reserves on loan?
I thought MM and DK said we'd be able to get some in when we needed to?

We need to now.

Tried that before. He's either on 8k or 12k a week, can't remember which but both are way out of our reach.

We have made approaches from Beckett before, once under Adams and once under Taylor. Both times we agreed a fee with the clubs concerned but the player didn't want to move south

assuming we have no pee in the bank account, I assume our loan oppertunities are NIL.

I am also very puzzled about this Arsenal link up...someone was obviously talking out of their arse when this was trumpetted as Brady's thanks to us. ( Ferret???)

BTW ASSUMING WE CANT SCORE GOALS, WHAT THE f*** IS JAKIE STILL DOING AT ALDERSHOT.

GET HIM BACK NOW

Chelsea Have a reserve called Sebastain Knessi who scores and could benefit from a loan?
