FACT.

What are you going to do about it Mr Knight?

Other than getting Sussex CCC to parade the trophy around during a game which will boost the crowd but that can't be done every game can it...

To be fair, Sussex CCC could parade the trophy around at every game, especially in the winter when they have nothing else to do. But it would get a bit boring.

'Fans voting with their feet' - it's one of the most powerful things and it's happenning.

Totally wrong, our first two home attendances beat anything Coppell acheived in League 1.

The crowd was slightly down today for obvious reasons that the game was moved and people have families and can't spend all weekend at sport.

Well lets see how many turn up for the next match then. I'm a season ticket holder so will be there of course but for the 'floating' fan why on earth would you pay £24 to see that?

As Ian Hart has just pointed out on the phone in:

a) The crowd was lower than expected today
b) Reactions to McGhee decisions were negative and abusive
c) When the last goal went in, the exodus began

That is all down to the football we are playing, the complete turd in our midfield, and the lack of affinity between management and players. Get him out, it will cost us more to keep him in the long run.
Explain.

I meant todays game and I was quoting what Harty said on the phone in. Obviously being a bank holiday and Sunday etc etc people do have other things to do, but it's still considerably lower and I know of a fair few people who are staying away from games because they don't want to watch things the way they are.

I don't think there were many floating fans there today, perhaps just as well :) They would have spent their "floating" cash on a day out in the capital yesterday, and good luck to 'em.

But why have they turned out in such good numbers in previous games?

Start of a new season and a few wins gets everyone in a good mood, but I along with a lot of other people cannot afford to spend money we don't have on drivel like that.

We have more seats than when we were in League One with Coppell and the first two home games where against Brentford and Gillingham - both local sides with a good away turnout.
