McGhee in defence of Ben Roberts

Mark McGhee has been quick to defend Ben Roberts after his error which led to Boston scoring. He said " One mistake doesn't make Ben a bad goalkeeper. It's not terminal. If he does it every week then obviously he's got a problem, but I don't expect he will."

That is the point I was trying to make when commenting on the low marks and the derogatory remarks from some people after the Boston match. Fortunately Mcghee is not guilty of writing him off as some people have done.

He also says: "Clean sheets don't do much for me. The defence & goalkeeper enjoy them but scoring goals is more important to me."

Brightonbird said "Obviously I upset people on here - if you are one of them, I apologise in advance!"

Well you don't upset me - you talk a lot of sense!

I've seen Filthy. He has a nice hairstyle :lolol:

He goes into the same pub as I do. He can be adopted

I agree that Roberts comes out too often. Both keepers have their strongpoints and weak points.

When on song they are both excellent
