So please tell me how you all know nobody has made a move for MM in the past 2 years?

Some people spout so much shit on here. I do not know either way if he has or not but there is no manager in the lower leagues as good as MM IMHO and seeing as many of you have been spouting names like Danny Wilson to take over it is quite clear to see that MM is a good manager compaired to anyone else we could get.

McGhee inherited the tail-end of Micky's team PLUS the Albion youth set-up. I thank him for McShane & Frutos & Carole - but Turienzo, Mccammon & (tho most folks have not seen enough of him to come to the correct conclusion) Doug Loft are all down to him squandering the Albion's money. Oh well, win some. lose some.

Taylor - f***ed off.
Coppell - Had a better offer.
McGhee - Not had a better offer, this is percieved as loyalty? Bearing in mind his reputation if he had walked out he'd have struggled to find another club. And just because he "shows loyalty", that does not make him a good manager.

I very much doubt that the fact he has got three different teams promoted and got others within touching distance of the premiership will prove too much of a handicap in getting another job.

I think his loyalty compared to Taylors spinelessness is commendable.

I'm not trying to piss you off BMF, but I am going to TOTALLY DISAGREE with you for the second time tonight! I am having a quick glance at ceefax, and running down the league tables here are the managers I would rate as better or equal to Mark McGhee:

Steve Tilson - Southend
Phil Parkinson - Colchester
Martin Allen - Brentford
Peter Jackson - Huddersfield
Ronnie Moore - Oldham
Gary Johnson - Bristol City
Dave Penney - Doncaster
Danny Wilson - MK Dons
Paul Simpson - Carlisle
Martin Ling - Leyton Orient
John Gorman - Wycombe

Ok some of them are a bit inexperienced. In fact, I am happier with MM than I would be with someone like Gorman, but to say MM is the best manager in the bottom two divisions is being a little ott I think

No worries FB. I am pissed off that we are now relegated so not a lot else will phase me and to be fair, you were spot on about Williamson With the list you have given I would say at present MM is better than all of them although agree that a few of the younger managers have the makings of being very good bosses including Nigel Clough whom you missed off of your list (possibly due to him being with a non league club).

McGhee's 'loyalty' has as much to do with it would cost the albion money to pay up his contract as anything else. He's a professional with a mortgage to pay. In the grander scheme of things, he'd show the same 'loyalty' to any club keeping him off the dole. And rightly so. Fact.

At this moment in time I would, yes. Give them another couple of seasons to prove they are not one season wonders and I may change my mind. Besides which I have quite often stated on here that when someone is with our club I will support them no matter what I think of them because I support the Albion and everything that goes with them.
