Tried a Deli Sandwich recently because the roofers had one every day and the kids had a coupon to get a free one - complete and utter garbage. Coffee is fine and breakfast muffins and bagels acceptable.

Maybe not politically correct to say this but I would rather die of hunger than eat in a McDonalds.

I hate it now

Used to like it a lot, but after eating "better" fast foods such as KFC, i began to hate their "food"

Only go in there if nowhere else, or need cheap food.

Havn't set foot in a McDonalds since a bad case of food poisoning laid me out for 2 weeks Xmas 1985. Good way to slim though!!

Apparently, "McDonalds" is the third most used/recognised word in the world behind "Coca-cola" and "Okay"

We are clearly a refined breed on here. But market forces don't lie, if enough people keep buying a product, the company will become more profitable/richer and expand.

It was the same old argument in the 70's about Japanese motorcycles being crap and left-hand gear-change will never catch on, etc. but the product still sold world-wide and the demise of the competition soon followed.

I'm curious as to how this thread has no thread starter according to the main board

Coffee's OK, and cheap too. Shows up places like Starbucks who charge insane amounts for a coffee.

Cheap doesn't make it good. As for Starbucks...

They're both cut from the same cloth. Can't believe they've opened one down North Road in Brighton.

I don't drink coffee but if I did I'd go to a nice local place and support the local economy instead of contributing to a bland, faceless, moral-less, multi-national behemoth.
