Matty Prior for England??

576 runs in the one day game at an average of 41 this season so far for Matty, surely the selectors have got to be taking note? It seems he won the game last night pretty much single handedly hitting an unbeaten 56 from just 43 balls. Will he get his chance or is he just unlucky that Geraint Jones is the wicket keeper of choice at the moment?

Probably just another A tour for him this winter I think.

Prior is a tad like Jones, good with the bat but has his dodgy moments with the gloves. Ambrose is probably the better keeper at the club, but his batting has gone to pot.

I think Rod Marsh would single handidly murder the selectors if Read is not taken as one of the 2 keepers on this winter's tours.

Third at the moment, however if Ambrose gets some form back and once he qualifys then I would hope he would be the one that the selectors look at.

He has been around for a while, he made his debut for England in 1999 against New Zealand and it is rare for England to cap players at 20.
