I've been shocked by his passing. Under hit, safe and slow.

This bit has disappointed me. He tries nice passes, but too often they don't get to their destination because of this.

Playing about 30 yards higher up the pitch helps.

Not sure I would go that far but Ayari was absolutely the surprise package for last season - I wasn't so much surprised as shocked at how effective he was and how consistent from first game to last.

Neat short passer 60 yards from goal though. Gilmour often found his man laterally 10 yards away.
