It’s all about getting up to speed imo. You did write off JPVH early doors and I think (hope) you’re wrong on this one
Yes, he was terrible initially, but has improved to be one of our best players.
I was also pleased when we signed CMS.

MOR has had more games and arguably started better than JPvH, but he has taken a step back IMO, and has plateau’d a bit.

Hoping you’re right though after a good preseason.

Nothing special so far.
Personally I think he would relish the challenge of improving.
But wouldn’t be surprised if he went abroad on a season long loan.

It’s also difficult to know where he will play if we have a fully fit squad. The number 10 role has Rutter and now Gruda ahead of him, in my opinion.

Though at the moment we can assume half our squad will be injured at any given time.

This is a squad built for Europe for sure. If we don’t get in, a lot of our players will struggle to fit in barring injuries.

I like the way he receives the ball - seems to be able to get it under control quickly no matter how it's fired at him. Also takes up good positions. Just seems a bit lightweight at times. Pleased he's getting a run in the team. Maybe regular games, a bit more confidence and a full preseason will help him prosper next season.
