I make that FIVE left-footers we’ve signed this summer. There’ve been times in recent seasons where it felt like we barely had any outside of March and probably our one specialist LB.

With the likes of Baleba and Igor already on the books we could probably quite easily put out a decent looking XI of majority left-footers!

Brighton
Fulham Reject!

[Technically true, but most Cottagers are pissed off we let an Academy star go so easily and he ends up at a rival club. Another Harvey Elliott, Fabio Carvalho,Ryan Sessegnon type situation].

Looks decent.

The MTL is a step down from the Eredivisie though. This will be a big leap for him, hopefully he can make the step up.

Not sure if posted already but Matt volunteers for the Glasgow Children's Hospital for three hours a week to play video games with the young patients.

I'm feeling broody.

That's my only reservation. By MTL standards, he looks like a shining star. But ultimately, he is still playing Ross County and St Johnstone four times a season, which is a very different animal to playing against Southampton and Crysta....oh.

Alright. He's going to SMASH it.

The dynamism, technical ability and athleticism in a hypothetical midfield combination of o Riley, baleba and/or weiffer is very exciting. Could completely bully other midfields if we want to.

He rejected Fulham, turned down a contract offer and gambled on finding another club.
Fulham are an O'Riley Reject.

He won’t get as much time and space in the Premier League……
………. Except maybe against Man Utd!
looks good, though, and sounds like he’s got a great attitude!

"Probably the best passer of the ball we've signed in the last 20 years. His ball winning and retention stats are unbelievable for a guy that's built like he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.

By all accounts a very humble and thoroughly decent guy.

Brighton have got themselves a superb player"
