What was the general opinion of his performance today from those who went to the game.

Difficult to gauge objectively BG. I doubt he's trained much with the team, if at all, and looked a bit rusty as others have said. Lita got a couple of yards on him for the first goal but the opportunity seemed (imo) down to us giving away possession unnecessarily (one of a number of poor passes forward by El Abd, to Ulloa in this case) and then Bridcutt not being able to retrive. Second goal was a defensive disaster all round from a free kick, starting when Barnes conceded it and was rightly sent off. The scorer had a free header from a corner for their third.
We didn't cope at all well at set pieces or with the agricultural/7-iron play that Wednesday employed at times. Can't say the ref's performance bothered me greatly, all round we just weren't really competitive or savy enough against a bigger team.
