Getting back into the football thing last night, got me thinking about what people wear to games. Personally I am a non colour wearing person, originally because of when we played at Pissfield you could not get a beer in the pubs round Victoria in the evening, having got the train out of the place, but these days, simply because I think football shirts are overpriced and of poor quality.

I am also interested as people on here spend so much of their time slagging off those that choose to wear designer gear, so here are a few options and over to you lot....

I like the idea of morning dress. Its so difficult first thing in the morng to decide what to wear so does that give me the opportunity to also bring a few changes of clothes for the afternnoon dress and evening dress?

Oooh I quite fancy going in slacks blazer and cravat.

No seriously I tend to either wear football shirt or just normal casual clothes. away games very rarely wear colours, home probably about 50:50 on colours and normal clothes.

Not sure you will need evening dress on a train back from Wigan, but if you will carry on the stuff, then, well whatever.

Who is the 70's boot boy that voted for the Ben Sherman number?

Whatever I'm wearing that day really. Don't make any special effort to wear colours or anything else although I am thinking of purchasing a Stone Island coat for the winter months.

In London village.
I feel linen suits and Panama hats are suitable for the early part of the Season. These will be replaced with Covert coats, moleskins and brogues as we progress into autumn and winter. A nice seersucker number may appear toward late April or early May.

Home games I always wear the stripes. Never wear colours to away games - not that I go away much now anyway.

Uncle buck I am a proper fan, i wear colours and jeans, have also been known to dye my hair and wear fancy dress on occasions:jester:

I don't think the wearing of anything makes you a PROPER fan. Although not wearing ANYTHING tends to make you a cold fan.

I like to be a bit of an existentialist - sometimes stripes, often not. Never any the less "Brighton 'til I Die" though.

It'll probably be the polyester number for me this season, but no doubt I will be wearing a nice range of co-ordinated M&S undies as well:lolol:

However, if I make it to Wigan I will be wearing a very nice posh outfit as I have a wedding to attend in the morning

that would be why mendoza put a JESTER (like this one, :jester: ) at the end of his sentence.
