I had been in Amsterdam and flew over on the day of the match. Plane delayed. Hotfooted it up the M6 from Birmingham airport and arrived just as the third goal went in. I understand we improved after that although what I saw was pretty rubbish.

Now if you want a walk up memory lane how about last season in the snow when Calderon made his debut in a 2-1 win for the Albion. 3.5K crowd then with about 500 in blue and white. There's a chance we could have 3500 Albion supporters there tomorrow!

How about 7-0 at the Goldstone and 0-0 at half time - surely the greatest Albion v Walsall memory ?

but on April 16th 1977, Albion lost 1-0 at Fellows Park.....

....and Albion were top of the league, oh.

1 was there the night we lost 6-0 in 1974-75 Buckley scored regularly against us, also i remember a 1-0 defeat where we battered them, never seen us win there
