Match Day Anti Social Behaviour

Just been reading the Sussex Express (Lewes based weekly)coverage of Falmer and came upon the wise words of Mike Weatherley Conservative parliamentary candidate for Brighton Pavilion. He is critical of 2 jags not making a decision but says:

"Living as I do in the middle of Brighton, on match days there is a definite increase in anti social behaviour. After a match, fans will flood the bars and after a few pints violence then spills out onto the streets.
Having the stadium at Falmer would have kept theses louts who are not true football fans, in the outskirts of the city where they can do less damage"

Isn't it nice to be loved by all!

thats the biggest load of shit i've ever read

and i read my own posts

Seeing that matchdays are normally on a saturday, I think we can surmise that the woeful Brighton police simply cannot patrol over the normal yobbo activities that go on EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT regardless of who's playing where.
So what if those yobs like football as well, everyfuckingbody likes football, that's nothing new either.

Those yobs certainly need to buck their ideas up, but then so do the bill.

Next subject ?:

Words fail me.

I would love to meet this guy and ask him to log every incident that he has seen.
I think a postage stamp would suffice for the evidence.

I had to read the full piece in the Sussex Express about four times before I managed to work out that what Weatherley was trying to say was that he supported the stadium being built at Falmer.

I suggest we keep him as far away from the campaign as possible.

Clearly, keeping this :dunce: out of the picture is very important, but presumably, this seat is the least likely to change hands at the next election. Dave Lepper has very little to fear from this twerp. I would have thought the Greens were a bigger threat, in view of their strength in St Peter's and North Laine, Preston Park, and some of the other central wards.

There was also a typically biased piece from John Eccles.I have written to him before to explain one or two facts about the proposed stadium site, but he still prefers to believe anything that the nimbys tell him.

I suspect whether to back or oppose Falmer has given many local Tories a moral dilema. Many, if not all of them probably share the same views as this idiot. Secretly they oppose the stadium as many residents of Falmer are probably typical of their powerbase. However, in the name of getting-elected-at-all-costs, they've jumped on the Falmer bandwagon as they see it as a pontential vote winner. Weatherly like his Tory predecessor in this constituency, Derek Spencer, is an out of touch idiot. Typical Tory in other words!

I read this too. The trouble is people are niave and many will believe this idiot. Can't we get some statistics from Sx Police to show that things are no worse in Brighton on matchdays? Whether he supports the Falmer campaign or not, he just wrong and needs to be put right.

On the basis of his arguement all the Brighton nightclubs could be moved to Falmer too.

I hate these tory twats who still think that flogging is too good for football fans-regardless of any trouble anywhere-and then use the tory rags to spread their bollocks:yawn:

They really are the party of the people aren't they?

Wankers-the lot of them!

Have any of the tories a clue as to what is happening in the real world? Not the world as portrayed by Mavis Saggytits and chums of Falmer and Lewes and their ass licking papers!

The man is a complete buffoon! Football fans have absolutely nothing to do with all of the trouble in places like Guildford on a Friday and Saturday night-nor in hundreds of other football-free towns around the country, nor places like the Algarve and Faliraki.

If there's trouble-"it must be those bloody football hooligans again". I'm sorry but that would appear to be the mantra of the Daily Nazi, sorry-Mail, the party it supports and its readers.

Makes me so damn angry I think I'll pop into Guildford and twat somebody just for the hell of it. Now, where's me football shirt?;)
