[Football] Martin Keown pundit extraordinaire.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Careful, he was one of ours in 1985.

23 appearances and one goal.

As an aside, I *distinctly* remember seeing an Argus bit on Martin Keown when he was on loan with us. I can *see* the words printed in the paper, "... is pronounced 'Cue-un'" and it's always driven me slightly mad ever since that no one pronounces his name correctly, not even me.

I don't suppose the Argus have digitised their history by any chance, because I'm all up for trawling through endless microfiche, as if I were a particularly hard-nosed journo searching relentlessly for the truth, to lay this ghost to rest.

One league goal, but three in all. One in a 5-2 League Cup victory over Bradford City, one in a 3-5 home defeat by Charlton in the league, and one against Palace in a 3-1 Full Members Cup win at Selhurst.
