It was good, to a point. Much as I worship every single goddam day at the altar of Motown, and much as a show that visits the actual tiny studio where it happened (any music lover's rightful Bethlehem) and the people who did it can't be anything other than interesting, I'd honestly have preferred a slightly more insightful host than him. His repeated "yeah it was great, yeah I'm really glad I did this trip" didn't add much tbh. More cool than clever.

I will never forget when Martin Freeman appeared on the odious cnt Tim Lovejoy's shortlived chat show and the vacuous Nathan Barley Lovejoy had a Ramones t shirt on, and Freeman pointed it out and asked Lovejoy to name a Ramones album, which was met by embarassed silence. Quality.
