Crawley 2-0 Farnborough

Crawley maintained their fine unbeaten home record with a comfortable win against lowly Farnborough.
The hosts went ahead midway through the first half when Dan Marney headed home Adrian Deane's cross from the left.

Farnborough went close to equalising in first-half injury time but Stephen Hughes could only direct Gary Holloway's cross at keeper Phil Smith.

Adrian Deane made the points safe with a blistering 25-yard drive which rocketed into the top corner.

It is good to see any Sussex team doing well.

It did amuse me last night to hear the Lewes supporters hating Worthing. Our Palace songs have been adapted to say Worthing.

Marney had a great game last night, but from where I was stood, it didn't look like his head that connected to put the ball in the net. I had it as a great OG.

Not surprised Marney claimed it, mind you.
