Tempted, but no. Not even after a lovely night in the Welly and a lot of beer. For me from now on NSC = BHA and the rest takes place elsewhere. All I will say is: Adrian: we won. :)

No john, we've all lost

I must have missed the proof. I'm aware he's been expelled but have not seen any proof or rationale for this decision. Have you? Genuine question.

Well you won't see Greg Hadfield circulating the full outcome of the investigation

He has been expelled for not meeting the rules of the party. They've had an investigation. Interestingly in his rebuttal Sandell isn't claiming the investigation outcome is incorrect but more claiming that being expelled shouldn't happen because he'd been elected.

I'm guessing that it's because they have confirmed that he either campaigned for or was a member of the hard-left AWL (and for some time) that ran against the Labour Party. I believe that's against Labour Party rules. The AWL disbanded earlier this year specifically to allow its members to join a Corbyn-led Labour Party. It does look. prima facie, that Sandell and his ilk are classic examples of entryists.

If true then I'm not surprised. The Labour Party is a democratic socialist party who believe in parliamentary democracy. The AWL are Trotskyites and anyone who espouses those sort of beliefs has no place in the Labour Party let alone as chairman of the largest branch in the country.

Yes you may well be right but I'm not aware of any explanation or proof yet offered by the NEC to expell him, up to 15 other local party members, suspend the local party from meeting and to annul the July vote and outcome. No doubt something will emerge over time as the NEC continues to purge new membership.

....of Trotskyites ( just to finish the sentence)

Good point: certainly if those expelled do not respond to any investigation outcome they have received in detail then that tells a story. It will be interesting to see how this develops and the renewed CLP votes in due course.

Ha. Well you don't have to look too hard to see that they appear to have been somewhat 'over zealous' in the lead up to the leadership vote. Hardly a surprise given most leanings in the NEC.
