His 1980s images just scream 'wrong 'un' at you.

Ex Radio One as well.

Remember him giving it large on the mic on the last day of the season up there in 2016, when the footballing gods conspired against us.

Turns out he’s a nonce, gets sentenced today.

I think they call it Karma.

That wasn't very nice, thought better of you. :nono:

Yeah I'm honestly a bit astounded I've never heard it used in that context before. Nobody I've ever interacted with has used it either!

I just asked one of my front-end / full stack friends and he said he'd heard it used before.

....I kinda want to throw it in to conversation at the next stand-up and see what the reaction is...

Going slightly off topic. As you work in the industry, do people still create websites the old fashioned way using HTML, PHP, CSS and Javascript, MySQL / MariaDB. Do people still set up LAMP servers.

I'm not sure to be honest - I'm exclusively a database guy.

Everywhere I've worked has had a front-end team, a UI / UX team, a backend team etc etc. so I would imagine that's the case elsewhere at other similar sized companies but I think more and more smaller businesses are turning to places like Squarespace for their website needs.

I'm with Lenny. There's no sell-by date on a grudge. I still haven't forgiven Southampton and Tottenham for that stitch-up at The Dell on the last day of the 1977-78 season.

The guy is a paedophile - be angry at that...but to relate it directly to "karma" just because he was a bit of an idiot with a microphone at a football game 5 or 6yrs ago?? The two are entirely different scenarios and have no place being linked together.

Jeez...life is too short to hold a grudge over what is said or done at football games a few years ago

NSC reminding me that a shared love of this football club does not mean that we necessarily have much else in common.

Of all the IT professions I would have thought you would have heard of it before. The child in me still giggles in meetings when our DBAs/Architects talk about passing the nonce.

The use of it in the context of this thread is so I'm led to believe a prison acronym....Not Of Normal Circular Exercise as the sex offenders weren't allowed to exercise with the "normal" prisoners.

I'm full of useless information today!! Still took 5 goes to get Wordle though.

I had never heard of it. But today, got this error message which is now my favourite error message of all time.
