Quotes from an interview after last nights game.

"I love it here and I love this group of players.

"I think we can improve, and we want to stay in this division. I think that is important for them.

"I said last year we needed to go up because the development of players like Adam Hinshelwood was going to suffer if they didn't.

"It's the same this year. We must stay in this division so we can bring these players on."

"We are working hard and we have done alright tonight," he said. "We deserved something but we didn't get it. I'm entirely confident that we will win two games - I just hope that will be enough.

"We have got some good games coming up and we would rather be in this fight with 44 points and seven games to go, than being ten points clear at the top of the Second Division.

"I would rather be in the position that we are in than in the position that Coventry or Gillingham are in. We are going to stay calm, keep battling away and we think that we can still finish the job."

think MM will sign a contract before he knows whether we will be relegated or not??

I don't see why he wouldn't. He is only going to be touted by other clubs if he does manage to keep us up. If he fails then he'd be better off signing up because nobody bigger is going to come sniffing round him in any great hurry. Besides I believe he wants to finish what he's started.

Most of our young players were here before McGhee came in but it does have to be said that he is the one responsible for giving most of them the break. It does feel like McGhee's team now, despite the core nucleus of Adams era players.

Decent, honest quotes in the progamme about the crowd at Wigan game.

Get someone to read them to you mate:p

Well said MM. It is so good to hear the positives and forget about the negatives that are banded round by a lot of home supporters. F block can be a nightmare when we are losing. Permenant moaning and forgetting how lucky we are to still be in existence at all.

Anyone would love the South Coast more than Scotland though! :D
Plus look at his other clubs, Reading, Wolves, Millwall... Brighton is easily the best place he's ever lived! :lolol:

"In the greater Brighton and Hove area" I do believe was Insider's answer last time this was asked
