"We should pay Brighton money to take this piece of shit off our hands."

"Wasnt he acquired on a free transfer anyway? If so then there is no real loss. He cant quite cut it in this division so why hang on to him"

"How he makes a living from professional football is a complete mystery. But when you look at it, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

Whilst scouts turn down good footballers because 'they're too small' they see a big black bloke, who's strong and got a bit of pace and automatically think he's a good footballer.

McCammon was absolute wank in Division 2 with Brentford, and the majority of their fans disliked him. He'll continue to struggle in this Division with Brighton, or a Division lower."

"He truly is one of the worst Millwall players I've ever seen. "

Well not really a positive set of reviews. Seems like Millwall fans are pretty united in their negative opinions of him.
Well if McGhee signs him, i'll welcome him. McGhee is turning into a LEGEND in the making, if he can play Charlie at right-back and get away with it then he can make this guy into a success!

*snip*

I look forward to reminding you of this thought when it becomes obvious that McGhee might have got a better player if he'd nabbed one of the squad who turns out for The Red Lion on Sunday mornings. Luton managed it with Enoch Showumni.

Incidentally, what on earth possessed an English black woman to name her son "Enoch" after one of the most famous fascists in recent British history?

As I mentioned on the other thread, I had lunch with a Millwall season-ticket holder on Sunday and he rated McCammon. So, it's not true that all Milllwall fans are united in hating him.

We're not going to pay a fee for someone though.

If we already have "the best" (McGhee's words) target man in the division (Virgo), why do we need another one anyway?
Because we are struggling for strikers at the moment other than the two that start?

Maybe she appreciates that Enoch Powell is only smeared as a racist by those who are bitter at him smashing the political silence over immigration. He is also the minister who went to the Carribian to invite the people to the UK to work.

Even Tony Benn acepts that powell wasn't a bigot so why cant you?

Cant remember Powell calling blacks Mongrels...Jack Straw anyone?

No, I doubt that was the reason Looney. It's probably more likely that the name Enoch was already in the family.q

It's not a subject I'm familiar with to be honest, so I'll happily back down. I'm confusing him with that bloke who trashed Jewish businesses in the East End during the war.
