If he had shot anyone else, he would have been out years ago, not that I think murderers should ever be released. But John Lennon was a human being just like any other human being. The fact he was rich and famous does not make his life any more precious than anyone else's who is murdered.

I agree with your point but disagree with the idea that John Lennon was just like any other human being. Nothing to do with wealth and fame though. I am just a huge huge fan and have nothing but respect for what he tried to do and how he used his fame and wealth.

Ok, if Lennon was any human being, then so should Chapman be judged for having selected him to die needlessly.
Chuck away the key on mark chapman, he can keep trying and keep failing.

John's death of coarse had nothing to do with the fact that he was about to be asked to head up a peace movement.
maybe its my age but as far as I am concerned Chapman can rot
